The giving season is among us! Join Free. & TOP for a period packing party to supply local teen menstruations with period products. In honor of Giving Tuesday, Free., TOP the organic project, and The Collective Co. have teamed up to support local teen menstruators with organic period products this holiday season. Menstruation affects 50% of the population but for so long our society has shamed this topic of conversation and deemed it a taboo. South Shore mom and period poverty advocate, Kenzie Blackwell, has made it her mission to raise awareness around the staggering implications of period poverty in communities nationwide and work towards a more equitable world in which all menstruators have access to period products. What is a giving party? Great question! A giving party is a time for communities to come together to address period poverty insecurity in their own backyard and work collectively to impact the needs of underserved menstruators firsthand. During our giving party, we will pack period kits to supply more than 361 South Shore teens with a month's supply of organic period products. There will be many opportunities to learn about period poverty, speak with fellow changemakers and gather with the shared goal of empowering women to reach their fullest potential! We strive to create a world in which all young girls and women have consistent access to healthy, dignifying products that meet their most basic needs.
