Description
Design Science is seeking individuals 18 years old and up, who:
- have experienced a heart attack (myocardial infarction) in the last 6 months to 5 years
- OR who care for someone who has had a heart attack in that time frame.
Participants will provide feedback on the ease of use and design of a treatment device that will be used to treat individuals suffering from a suspected acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). Participants will attend a 45 minute session, followed by a 1 hour session the following week. Both sessions will take place in January in Philadelphia, PA (validated parking is available). Participants will be compensated $225 after completing the second session.
Please note that, although you will be interacting with a medical device, you will NOT administer any medication to yourself or another person. The device will contain a placebo solution and you will only simulate its use. If you are interested in participating, please sign up here () for more information. We are NOT looking for CNAs or Home Health aides for this study. Only individuals who care for someone in their personal lives with a chronic condition. Please note, we are following Covid-19 social distancing guidelines at our office, including maintaining 6’ distance, mask wearing, sanitization, and more. Space is limited, subject to availability. Criteria for qualification is subject to change at any time.
