⛳ This fall we're taking our talents to the golf course! ⛳ **The current date is a placeholder only**⛳🏌️‍♀️ Join us for the inaugural Blue Steel Cup! 🏌️‍♂️⛳This fall we're taking our talents (or lack thereof) to the golf course for an epic day of golf, games, complimentary booze & food, music, and general shenanigans. This WILL NOT be your run of the mill golf tournament. Are you an avid golfer? Occasional golfer? Mini-golfer? Never golfed? Just a fan of the really short, neat grass (ooh so pretty!)? Then this tournament is PERFECT for you. OVERVIEW: Some holes will have abnormal rules and/or obstacles (see below, TBD soon). Examples could be teeing off with your putter, avoiding a large cardboard cutout on the green, etc....because why not?Complimentary booze at every 3rd hole so you can blame your horrible play on the alcoholComplimentary food (breakfast & lunch) to soak up some of your bad decisionsPrizes for the top team AND the last place team (we can't wait for the epic race to the bottom)Prize for the best-dressed team (you may not win, but at least you'll look ridiculously good)TONS of side games/challenges that will benefit a GREAT nonprofit called Going Places (read more about it here)Live music/DJ performancesA general atmosphere of ridiculousnessOfficial outdoor afterparty TBA soonSIGN UP/TEAMS: Prices will increase as the event nears, so sign up sooner rather than later!Teams will be divided into groups of 4Tickets must be purchased as a TEAM (a group of 4) so just Venmo your captain beforehand or borrow Aunt Sally's credit card 🤣. ATTIRE: Your most ridiculous golfing attire is highly encouragedWe want you all to look the part because we know most of you won't be acting the part 😂RULES: Certain holes will have distinct rules. We'll be announcing these soon.PRIZES: Prizes will be announced closer to the event date!CHECK-IN: This event will be a shotgun start and tee-off is at 11amWe strongly recommend that groups arrive at 9:30 to give you time to check-in, enjoy some food, and most importantly heckle your opponentsCOVID PRECAUTIONS: All participants will have their temperature taken while being checked inWe'll have hand sanitizer available at check-in and every 3rd holeAlthough this is a socially distant event, guests will be asked to wear masks when social distance can not be maintained per the Mount Pleasant ordinance Free masks will be available for anyone that needs one**As always, drinking is 100% optional! Although drinks are complimentary, there will be no extra challenges/events that will require drinking to participate. We love and welcome Designated Drivers to join us. If you do choose to drink, please drink responsibly!**
