Parking Directions:When you arrive at The Ion, you have two options: 1) Park in the Visitor Lot just to the north of The Ion (west side of Fannin Street between the building and Eagle Street, enter from the parking lot from Fannin Street). The gate to the parking lot will be open. Note: Enter 4201 Fannin Street into your GPS for directions directly to this parking lot located in front of The Ion building Walk over to the building through the pedestrian gate in the fence and across The Ion Plaza. As you walk up to the main door, press the door buzzer, and security will let you into the building.2) Park in the parking lot on the east side of Fannin Street (4203 Fannin Street) between Eagle Street (to the north) and Wheeler Ave (to the south). Note: Enter 4203 Fannin St. into your GPS for directions directly to this parking lot. The parking lot entrance is roughly in the middle of the block - enter the parking lot before the pedestrian crosswalk/light on Fannin Street.As you drive up to the gate stop and press the buzzer to talk to security to enter the parking lot and let them know you are there for an eventWhen you exit your car, walk back towards the gate you entered towards the handicap exit - push the handicap button. That will release the magnet that allows you to pull the pedestrian gate open.
