Description

CSU Drive In It’s a Friday night at the CSU Drive-In, back in the 1930’s, drive-ins emerged as an alternative to cramped indoor movie theaters. In the 1950’s and 60’s, they became a family-friendly destination and a date night alternative for couples. VCR’s and Netflix led to the decline of the drive- ins. But now, nostalgia is fueling their comeback. A stream of bright lights cuts through the darkening twilight in an open, grassy field here on campus. As cars line up in front of a giant movie screen and Buttery popcorn shifts from eager fingers to crunching mouths in the back of one pickup truck, while others gather on a blanket spread on the grass. Even the laughter of others carries back to the line at the concessions stand. Join us at this nostalgic Sweet 16 event. Sign up today on Buc Nation to reserve your spot. See you at the Drive In!
