The US Air Force Band of The Golden West presents "Joy to the World:Celebrating Traditions from Across the Globe" at Atherton Auditorium Celebrate the holidays with the USAF Band of the Golden West! Join us on December 7th at 7pm at the Atherton Auditorium at Delta College for an afternoon of diverse holiday music from around the world! This performance is free and open to the public,no tickets required! The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California, is the only active duty Air Force band west of the Rockies.  Under the command of Captain Joseph Hansen, the band's talented and versatile Airmen are dedicated to serving their country through music. The Band of the Golden West connects communities and builds partnerships through music in a five state region throughout the West Coast, representing the excellence of Air Mobility Command and the U.S. Air Force.  With nine diverse ensembles, the organization performs a wide variety of musical styles for civilian audiences, school groups, and military events.
