INDEPENDENCE POST OUT GOING PACKAGE THEFT

Heads up folks ! Independence post office has a porch pirate. Or should I say outgoing package pirate.. He comes in the front door and looks around inside and if he sees nobody up front he gets his mail and then goes in and takes packages off the outgoing counter. I called them and they said there was not anything they could do about it ! I say how about getting the outgoing packages off the counter and out of reach of people. Ben replied with "I agree but I just work here"... Take your packages in and have them scan it and give you a receipt.. This is only going to get worse as Christmas comes. Dallas has the same issue, Cops have had several cases in Dallas of this going on.. Hope you don't loose anything to the dishonest ones ! Be safe beyond the masks, We have to look out for us, The post offices don't care and you have to prove you dropped it off...
