Proceeds benefitting housing solutions for our unhoused veterans, as well as The Kawasaki Disease Foundation (Last6 Co-Sponsor). Black tie optional; cocktail attire encouraged. Since January 2021, CharaCare has provided support and supplies assisted in the transition of the veterans off of Vets Row in Brentwood CA. Our current initiative is to provide 24 long-term homes to veterans. Background: In Los Angeles, there are approximately 4,000 unhoused veterans. The county VA plans to address this need with 1,200 housing units on the VA grounds. These units will not be completed until 2031 and in the meantime, leaves over 3000 vets sleeping on the streets. Our mission at UScension is to see that NO veteran remains without a home. We are a like-minded community of friends working together to make a difference in the world: finding joy through giving back, dancing, activities in nature, and a variety of sports.
