Everyone who joins the circle will be invited to play one of several instruments while Brian guides us into different sounds and patterns. You are also encouraged to bring your own instruments. This is a family-friendly event and all adults and children are encouraged to join the circle for a night of creative expression and playful exploration. No musical experience is necessary. All that you need is a willingness to have fun and connect with others! The sounds and vibrations of these instruments will gently ease you into a state of deep relaxation and peace. Andrew is a multi-instrumentalist musician and sound therapist who has a deep love for anything involving sound. He is also a singer, songwriter and music composer, as well as lead singer and musician performing kirtan at satsangs. His other instruments include: piano, harmonium, a variety of flutes, hand drums and more. As a sound therapist, Andrew has trained with the Acutonics system, which utilizes tuning forks on acupuncture points and meridian lines. He also uses gongs, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, and other instruments in the application of sound therapy and for group sound meditations. Flow in the Dark: GLOWGA This glow-in-the-dark yoga class, practiced under neon and black lights, adds new twist to finding balance. Glow in the dark body paint and glow sticks will be provided. The first 30 minutes will be for adorning yourself with complimentary glow paint and glow in dark bracelets and temporary tattoos. Glow in the dark jewels are available for additional purchase. Then, Jason Kierce will lead a fun, light hearted class that will flow into an ecstatic dance party. Super talented Diego Sanchez will be playing live drums over Jason’s extra fun playlist. Ecstatic Dance is to completely lend yourself and your body to the rhythm of the music. In ecstatic dance, you move freely through the space leading to a state of trance and ecstasy (hence the name ecstatic). I graduated yoga teacher training from Y2 Yoga in Charlotte, class of 2015. Yoga has been a part of my life for about 14 years and practice between 4-6 times per week. I also love to do and teach inversions of all types. I founded Charlotte Accounts early 2015 and have facilitate weekly Acro jams.
