Join us for a redwood forest hike and picnic lunch with tamales on Saturday, November 27th at Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. In partnership with Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, join us on a Gratitude Hike con redwoods y tamales on Saturday, November 27th at noon, 12pm at Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. We'll spend the afternoon wandering through the redwood forest, learning about the local ecology, and paying attention to our senses and thoughts by noticing what we see, hear, smell, and feel. We'll meet at the Bear Creek Redwoods Preserve parking lot, then hike along the moderate Alma Trail with 700ft of elevation gain, until we reach the old-growth redwoods grove, have lunch and tamales, and return back to the parking lot for a total of 3.2 miles.
