Come join CCFC as we help the Town of Marshville, NC unveil their new EV fast charging station to the public!
The CCFC formally invites you to the Town of Marshville’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This event will take place November 15, 2021 from 11-11:30am at the electric vehicle charger in the parking lot off N Elm Street behind Pearl’s Boutique at 119 N Elm St, Marshville, NC 28103. The Town is very excited to celebrate its newest investment and would like to share the fun!
Why is the Town adding an EV charger now? Marshville is on the cusp of growth and development with the recent completion of the Monroe Bypass and increased interest from commercial and residential developers. A highly traveled corridor for tourist destinations, Marshville is a key town along the route from the beach to the mountains and has the opportunity to grow that status. With the EV Charger, Marshville is one step closer to establishing itself as a key destination in Union County.
To ensure the health and safety of everyone at this event, masks are optional since we will be outside and will have hand sanitizer and social distancing measures in place. The event will be held entirely outdoors and cover will be provided in the case of inclement weather. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We hope you'll join us on November 15th!
