NAMIGA in Rockdale Newton is honoring our community partners and founding members of the NAMIGA in Rockdale Newton affiliate. Please join us as Ron Koon, President of NAMI Georgia Board of Directors presents this year's "Legislative A-TEAM AWARD." Speakers include Bill Carruthers, Rockdale County Stepping Up Initiative Project Developer, and Rockdale County Accountability Court Alumni, Sydney Ragland. We’re a local affiliate of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, serving Rockdale & Newton Counties, GA. We currently host family support groups at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Conyers, Salem United Methodist Church, and First Presbyterian Church of Covington. Salem UMC also has a support group for peers living with mental illness. We will announce more in the way of educational opportunities throughout the year.
