May the Light of the sun illuminate our blessings on this Yuletide Day! responsibly.Come and Join The Covenstead's Yule 2021. The Yule season is full of magic, much of it focusing on rebirth and renewal, as the sun makes its way back to the earth. This is the time to focus on new beginnings with our magical workings! This is a time of settling in, it encourages inner reflection and a more profound spirituality than other parts of the year. This is the time to allow yourself forgiveness for the mistakes you made in the past year. Consider your relationships and which ones you shouldn’t continue. Take inventory of every part of your life. Now is the time to change. The magic in the air makes it naturally easier to do so. This is also a time to look to the future, and all of the hope and possibility the future holds. Dream a little bigger during Yule, and allow yourself to really believe those dreams can come true. A lot can happen in a year after all. This Event is for all Ages. Wines and Spirits are welcome. But is asked to drink for this is a family event. Seating is limited. Please bring a chair. Covenstead will be providing Yule party favors for all attendees. Solstice Wassail. Hot Chocolate, Coffee and other beverages will be provided. Covenstead will be providing the Main Course. We ask that you bring a side, appetizer and or dessert for the feast. * We will be having a Yule Ritual that will start at 6 P.M * We will be making Witch Yule Balls * A Yule Meditation * Candle Gift Exchange ( $5 limit) * Yule Food Divination ( An old English tradition) * Yule games for all ages. Please bring a food donation for the The Witch's Cupboard. All donations will go to help assist Pagan families and individuals that are facing hard times this holiday season. Let's help put light back into the community. I, Rev. Bella Shay is a firm believer that the purpose of the spiritual path is to find the highest and best in ourselves. What I take from each book, each teaching, helps move me along that path, helps me find the highest and best in myself and live my life by those principles. I guide people to think of themselves as spiritual rather than religious. To study different spiritual teachings, both old and new, and take from each what helps them find answers in their own lives. I, encourage the curious about other spiritual paths rather than finding one teaching and feeling that that is the complete answer for them. Help them to find their own answers in their spiritual search rather than accept someone else telling them what to believe. Teach other to be comfortable with other people whose spiritual beliefs and paths are different than their own. Guide others to believe that they can learn from other people, rather than try to tell other people what they should believe. I, prefer to be around other people whose minds are open and who respect beliefs different from their own. If, this is how you feel than welcome to The Covenstead.
