Connect with other guardianship/adoptive parents
Are you curious about how stress can change brain wiring both in utero and beyond? We'll also learn about what is trauma behavior vs. 'typical' behavior. We'll reflect on how parents can mediate their reactions so that they don't engage in the trauma dance/ recreate traumatic dynamics.
Maxine Jacobs has been a trainer for La Crosse County since 2013, and has raised 5 adopted children and 2 biological children.
