Amazing singer, songwriter and pianist, Marty Goetz is back for the 2nd year at the Music Factory! Marty Goetz, with his amazing voice, keyboard skills and Psalmist style of songwriting brings a unique blend of heart-moving power and depth of songs along with hilarious light-hearted banter that manages to come together without making anything seem trite or shallow. Marty is a Messianic Jew (a Jew who believes that Jesus is the promised Messiah) and his music is deeply grounded in Biblical truth that is so beautiful and powerful. His style of music could be compared to Broadway singer Michael Feinstein or songwriters like Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Marty is a rare jewel in the world of Christian music! Don't miss this concert! There will be snacks, pop, water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cider available to purchase during the evening. The Music Factory is on the 2nd floor of the WWI era Old Milk Factory on Rum River in Anoka - which is a non-wheelchair accessible building and there are some stairs to climb. Seating is general admission and the doors open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. Heart of the City Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian music ministry.  Founded by Dan and Sandy Adler in 1996, this ministry has been focused on bringing a message, model and experience of multi-ethnic worship music and Biblical unity through the multi-ethnic Heart of the City Band.  Heart of the City has performed hundreds of concerts in as many settings both in the Twin Cities area and in other areas around the country.  As of the Summer of 2018, after over two years of fundraising and renovation, a new expression of Heart of the City Ministries was born in the form of the Heart of the City Music Factory.  This venue is both the recording studio and rehearsal space for the Heart of the City Band and also a concert venue and event center that can be rented out.  The vision of the concert series is to continue to model and bring people together across ethnic lines through high quality concerts featuring diverse styles of music as well as other forms of entertainment.
