Missing small husky

Description

Went to a friends house near Purcellville Virginia for Halloween with my dogs. My huskies are highly intelligent and one of them decided to open the front door and leave. Typically it’s because they have to potty and come right back. This time for some odd reason she did not. Someone managed to catch her after 4 days but within a few hours (if even) she escaped them as well. No sightings have been reported for about a week. Figured I’d post here to spread the word even more She is possibly headed the 40 miles back down to my house so any information is appreciated. She does FastCat (100 yard dash) and clocks in at an average of 22 mph so she can go far fast. The last time I checked she ranked 114th fastest for this sport. (My older B/W husky is 101st) If caught do not let her out of your sight because she can and will get out of dog crates, open doors, and jump over fences. If your fence isn’t over 6 feet she can and will jump it. Call for animal control or take her to a vet or shelter to have her microchip scanned. She got out of her tracking collar because she got caught on a tree branch. She’s a very petite black and white husky with a dark mask and piercing blue eyes. It’s odd she didn’t return because I’ve trained these husky pups to come back. My other 2 didn’t even run with her so it’s all a bit odd. I had actually just finished a camping trip in West Virginia where they had plenty of opportunities to escape the tent but knew better not to. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thank you for your time. For those of you wondering I do exercise my huskies regularly and have spent many hours training them to behave and be enriched. Sakura has always been the problem child and I take care to contain her but unfortunately with this breed no matter how careful I might be when they want to go they will find a way.
