Press release from the City of Salem: November 10, 2021 All Salem City offices - including City Hall and Annex, the Salem Public Library and the Mayor Jean Levesque Community Life Center - will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in observance of Veterans Day. There is no school on Veterans Day. Both of the "Stop the Spread" COVID-19 testing locations, at St. Peter's Church and Salem High School, will be closed, as well. Trash and recycling collection that normally takes place on Thursday will be delayed one day. The public is invited to observe the annual Veterans Day ceremony, this year taking place at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Larkin Lane and Memorial Drive. The ceremony will also be shown on Salem Access TV and streamed on the City's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityofsalemma. This press release was produced by the City of Salem.
