Veterans Day at Baxter Park Thursday, November 11, 2021 is Veterans Day. In observance of this day, there will be a ceremony held at 5pm at Baxter Park and all are welcome. 5pm: A brief ceremony will be held by American Legion Post 110 members, honoring all veterans including the reading of the names of those veterans who have passed away this past year,The public is welcome to attend, and to take notice of the luminary bags lighting the walkways at Baxter park honoring veterans, provided by the American Legion Auxiliary,Service flags will be at half-staff, then raised by veterans of their respective service branch. November 10th, is the 246th birthday of the US Marine Corps.
