Looking for honest and physically strong male caregiver to assist elderly man in late 90s. Must be fully vaccinated and be willing to wear a mask over nose and mouth when working. Ideal candidate will be a pleasant, supportive companion who helps client participate in activities of daily living, hobbies and social activities. Must have a safe driving record, have a sound standard of cleanliness/neatness and be able to establish an effective, working relationship with the family. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively and must also be able to pass a thorough background check. How to Apply 1. Complete short online survey: Responsibilities • Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house and outside • Plan, prepare, serve homemade dinner meals • Perform routine errands • Perform light housekeeping duties • Report any unusual incidents and changes in client health and status; monitor client activity, food intake, functional status, psychosocial status, and take action as required to promote client well-being • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency • Adhere to health and safety standards and guidelines set by client for both client and employee safety • Function as a team with client’s family and other care attendants Must show: • Valid record of COVID vaccination (must show proof) • Valid California's driver's license, and a reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance (must show proof) • Social Security card (must show proof) • Professional references (must show proof)
