Description
First of all if you don’t have any experience with these types of birds don’t even bother. I don’t know if you’re an amateur right away. Do not waste my time, this is not a novelty pet.
This bird needs a massive enclosed aviary with a roof on top so it’s predator proof. They are not team and they cannot be in the house, nor can they be in a chicken coop. It has a 6 foot wingspan and needs a lot of area to realm so you have to have an aviary that’s at least 20 feet wide and at least 30 or 40 feet long. With the roof on top if you don’t send me pictures of the enclosures I won’t even respond to your text. Include a picture of your enclosure before you ask any questions. That is the key to me answering you.
This female crane is about 4 1/2 years old and in great feather. I lost the male due to some unknown illness.
If you are looking for another male I can give you a couple leads on where you may find one. But they are pretty rare. They are legal to have in California.

The adoption fee is 1350 Firm. He’s typically go for around 2000 or 2500 so this rehome fee is just to ensure that you’re not a moron.
I can potentially deliver this bird somewhere but you’re going to pay me for my time and gas. I’m not an asshole I’m just really tired of dummies approaching me on craigslist for animals that they have no business having.
