The 2040 Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Draft is now available for final review and comment. Read the entire report at www.arapahoegov.com/transportationplan.
Residents are encouraged to submit feedback to [email protected] through Nov. 15, 2021. After the public comment period closes, the 2040 TMP will be finalized and presented to the Board of County Commissioners for adoption on Nov. 23, 2021.
In 2020, Arapahoe County began the process of updating its Transportation Master Plan. The previous 2035 plan developed a unified multimodal transportation system that promoted efficiency, supported alternative transportation solutions and ensured coordination with land use.
The 2040 TMP has built on these goals and identified future improvements, investments and policies that will keep residents, employees and visitors moving in, out, and throughout Arapahoe County for years to come.
The 2040 TMP also identifies transportation investment priorities for roadway improvements, new roadway connections, bike and pedestrian projects, traffic operational improvements and public transit.
