Use a spectrum of colors to contribute a 3D weaving to this collective installation. This all-day drop-in workshop is open to people of all ages. Sauce for the Goose Outdoor Art Market, Princeton Shopping Center: Kick off your holiday shopping at the Arts Council of Princeton's Sauce for the Goose Outdoor Art Market on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In its 28th year, this one-day market held in the courtyard is a unique opportunity to purchase handmade gifts directly from local artisans and crafters working in ceramics, textiles, jewelry, fine art, and more. Second Sunday Poetry Readings, Princeton Shopping Center: Artist Cooperative Princeton Makes will kick off its second Sunday poetry readings on Nov. 14. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The first reading will be at4 p.m. and will feature James Richardson, an emeritus professor of English and CreativeWriting at Princeton University, and David Orr, a Professor of Poetry and the Practice of Criticism at Rutgers University. Benefit Concert, Bayard Rustin Center, Princeton: The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is organizing a benefit concert featuring Wesley Stace (aka John Wesley Harding) in his only area appearance with the full "Late Style" band. This performance will take place on Friday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. on 50 Cherry Hill Rd., Princeton. All proceeds will go toward finding the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice a new home, after losing its headquarters during the pandemic. tickets are available at: wesleystace.eventbrite.com USAF Heritage of America Concert Band, Patriots Theater at the War Memorial, Trenton: The United States Air Force Heritage of America Concert Band will be performing a free concert in Trenton on Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. The Concert Band is comprised of 45 professional Airmen who captivate audiences by telling the Air Force story, and also performing numerous renditions of great symphonic classics, marches, Broadway hits, jazz standards, movie music, and patriotic favorites. The Band will also perform new music, embodying the spirit of innovation. The concert is free and open to the public.
