We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to add to our team.  Most of this person’s time will be spent cleaning carpets and then filling in to assist with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Regulatory tasks. This is a part-time position, approximately 22.5 hours a week. Ideal candidate will be able to work three shifts a week.  We welcome walk-ins! You may visit us at: 2200 E Madison St, Seattle, WA 98112 Phone: (206) 203-6348 Light Maintenance duties: -Assist with Resident move-ins and move-outs -Replace blinds -Replace light bulbs -Hang pictures in Resident apartments -Painting and touch up around the building (door thresholds, hallway walls,Resident turnovers, scratched base board touch up, etc.) -Light Plumbing -Unclog toilets -Repair flush valves -Clean Ice Machines regularly (regulatory) -Clean and maintain the pond/fountain -Pressure washing of the Turnaround Entrance and other areas of the building  Regulatory work: -Help with staying on top of Weekly/Monthly Regulatory testing for State -Weekly water temperature testing -Weekly eye wash station testing -Weekly Exit Sign testing -Weekly check of wander guards and door monitoring -Weekly check of CO/Smoke detectors in residents apartments -Monthly Fire Extinguisher checks Why you should join us: -Competitive pay, excellent benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k/tuition assistance and more!), and an enjoyable work/life balance.
