Press release from the City of Austin: November 9, 2021 Some City administrative offices and public facilities will close for Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021. City of Austin administrative offices and other municipal facilities will be closed, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 in observance of Veterans Day. Normal business hours will resume Friday, Nov. 12, 2021. Closures include all City Council offices, all Austin Public Library locations and the Austin Animal Center. Austin Resource Recovery offices will be closed, but curbside services will continue. Most Austin Parks and Recreation facilities, including recreation centers, senior centers, year-round pools, golf courses, and tennis centers, will operate at normal hours. Museums and cultural centers will be closed. For complete information see AustinTexas.gov/ParkClosures. All City of Austin Utility Customer Service Centers will be closed. Customers can make utility payments at coautilities.com or by calling 1-833-375-4919 for a Quick Payment. Additional payment options include: COVID-19 Test and Clinic Sites All Austin Public Health COVID-19 test sites will be closed on Veterans Day.
