WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Two men have each been charged with heroin possession and distribution charges, according to Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer.
Pfeiffer announced the charges on Tuesday in two separate news releases, the first set of charges against Yasin Carraway Murphy, 31, of Irvington; and the second against Justin R. Vandermark, 27, of Hackettstown.

In the multi-agency investigation into Carraway-Murphy by the Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force and with the Hackettstown, Mansfield and Warren County's Washington Township Police Departments, along with the New Jersey State Police, Pfeiffer said Carraway-Murphy was charged with two counts of heroin distribution and two counts of possession of heroin, with plans to distribute it.
With the same agencies investigating Vandermark, Pfeiffer said he was charged with the same as Carraway-Murphy, as well as two counts of distributing heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, added onto his charges.
Each of the charges, which Pfeiffer said are third-degree, have a maximum five year sentence in New Jersey State Prison.
Pfeiffer said that only Vandermark was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility to await a motion to detain him.
