Press release from the Village of Skokie: November 9, 2021 Today November 9, 2021, the Skokie Public Works Department will repair a water main on Howard Street. Westbound Howard Street between Kenton Avenue and Knox Avenue will be closed. Westbound traffic will be detoured North at Kenton Avenue to Brummel Street and back to Howard Street via Knox Avenue. All lanes of traffic will be reopened by the end of day, November 9, 2021.Please consider an alternate route if possible. For more information, contact the Public Works Department at 847/933-8427.
