Description
StretchLab, the premier national assisted stretching franchise, will host a grand opening event at its first studio in the Las Vegas area on November 11. Located at 10660 Southern Highlands Parkway, Suite 108, the studio will introduce people of all ages and fitness levels to the various health and wellness benefits of working with highly-trained Flexologists™ in an open, modern, fun and approachable environment. StretchLab SOHI Vegas is owned and operated by local resident, Michael Olson. Olson first discovered the benefits of assisted stretching as a StretchLab client himself in Arizona. After suffering numerous injuries from horrific dirt bike wrecks, surfing accidents and playing sports throughout his life, Olson was amazed by the pain relief he felt after his first 50-minute session at StretchLab. As Founder of Olson PreCast Company, Michael is eager to bring this new business to his community. “With this new StretchLab studio, my goal is to bring people of all ages and backgrounds in to improve their health overall,” said Olson. “Whether you are an avid weightlifter, athlete, or suffering from an injury, StretchLab is the perfect place to relieve pain and stress. After becoming a member myself, I am now able to do the things I love every day. I could play golf seven days a week if I had the time! I also feel taller and stronger than I ever have.” StretchLab offers one-on-one personalized stretching services, including a 25-minute stretch as well as a 50-minute stretch based on customized plans created by a trained Flexologist™ who leads clients through a warm-up and sequence of stretches to address major muscle groups. Individual monthly memberships are available for four or eight visits per month as well as shared plans for families. The SOHI Vegas studio will also offer the TRX MAPS machine, which is a revolutionary machine identifying movement inefficiencies across four critical categories: Mobility, Activation, Posture and Symmetry. As users perform three body-weight squats, 3D technology performs a total body movement scan and the MAPS score is created in under 30 seconds. Results are delivered on-screen and via email which allows StretchLab’s Flexologists™ to better serve the needs of its diverse members with deeper understanding of how their individual body moves. The assessment helps Flexologists create a customized stretch plan and offers a tangible and visual way to measure progress toward specific movement goals.
