Press release from Anthem Memory Care: Nov. 9, 2021 Unleash your inner artist while helping a local memory care community celebrate their veterans. Emerald Place invites artists and doodlers of all ages to Chalk the Walk for Veterans from 3 to 5 p.m., Nov. 10 at the community located at 1879 Chestnut Ave, Glenview. Participants will add their patriotic sketches and messages to the sidewalk using chalk provided by Emerald Place. "We welcome the opportunity to honor our military veterans, and what better way than to have the greater Glenview community involved as well," said Allison Rackow, community relations director for Emerald Place. "We know that our veterans will be overjoyed once they see the grounds filled with inspirational messages of gratitude for their service." Participants will add their sketches and messages of inspiration to the sidewalk using chalk provided by Emerald Place. The residents will parade around the building at 10:30 a.m., Nov. 11 to view the many drawings. Emerald Place is operated by Anthem Memory Care.
