GLENDORA, CA — A man accused of trying to stab two nurses at a Glendora hospital is behind bars and facing attempted murder charges, multiple news outlets confirmed with police.
According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, nurses were trying to treat the man, who complained of chest pains, at Emanate Health Foothill Presbyterian Hospital when he pulled out a knife and attempted to stab two nurses early Monday morning.
Fortunately, no one was injured. However, he fled from the hospital and showed up at a gas station and then threatened to kill the store clerk and stab him, the newspaper reported.
The worker reportedly dialed 911 and officers arrested the man on scene.
He's been charged with three counts of attempted murder, making threats and vandalism, according to SGVT.
