ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Miko is one lucky bird thanks to the Arlington Heights Police Department. The 30-year-old African gray parrot was found by officers Wednesday morning at Rec Park. Following a social media post, the bird was reunited with his owner of more than 20 years. This is Miko, the missing bird from this morning who was reunited with his owner. Miko told our officers his name and made sure to also say hello. Miko's owner informed us Miko is a 30 year old African Gray. A social media post was sent out by police at 8:51 a.m. with a follow-up sayin that his owner had been found going up at 9:26 a.m.
