Press release from the Cass County Government: 11/10/2021 9:30 am The Cass County Redistricting Board voted unanimously on Tuesday to adopt Option V (Vertical) for the new Commission districts effective for election cycles beginning in 2022. This option is very similar to the previous layout with adjustments to the metro area districts. Districts 1, 2, 3, and 4 are oriented vertically (north-south) in the metro area. Districts 1, 2, 3, and 4 are metro, while District 5 is metro and rural. All five Cass County Commissioners will remain in the same district as they were previously. A breakdown of each district's new population can be found below: District 1 = 39,097 District 2 = 38,178  District 3 = 37,160  District 4 = 35,146 District 5 = 34,944   This press release was produced by the Cass County Government.
