Mooresville Man Arrested, Charged With Shooting I-77 Driver

MOORESVILLE, NC — A suspect has been arrested in Monday's shooting on I-77 after the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his face. The incident happened near exit 31. Mark Baucom, 50, a Mooresville resident, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and assault, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. The person who was shot was taken to a hospital in Charlotte for treatment and is currently stable. Baucom has a 250,000 bond; no motive has been given. Live in Mooresville?
