DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglasville woman, wanted on a murder charge, was arrested last week after running from authorities for five months, police said.
Kaiysa Nadinsa Robinson, 39, was arrested Thursday in connection with a June killing at a Douglasville apartment complex, according to Douglasville Police Department investigators.
Around 11 a.m. June 12, police were dispatched to Millwood Park Apartments for a domestic dispute, and found Jarmichael Brown, 31, of Powder Springs, dead from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. After conducting interviews and examining physical evidence, police issued a warrant for Robinson's arrest and charged her with murder.
Police believed Robinson left the state and was in the New York area at some point, and issued a $2,500 reward for information leading to her capture.
No additional details about Robinson's arrest last week were immediately available.
