Seeking drums,guitarists,possibly keys for an original rock/alt rock/ambient band. Chris Hart(bass), and I(Steph Hart,vocals/lyrics),have been playing for years in Wilmington and surrounding areas actively since 1998,and looking to get something going again. Seeking proficient guitarist(s), and drummer,possibly keys. Downside we don’t have a practice space,so if you have a band/jam room that’s a plus. We have all our equipment. (PLEASE no out of control egos,racism,bigotry,homophobia,etc or alcohol/drug issues.) Emphasis on original stuff but interesting covers here and there would be cool/fun. Laid back situation as we’re all getting back into the swing of performing/practicing/writing,etc. No pressure with schedule/work/other band obligations: we can work around your current situation. Future live performances and recording if all are interested. We’ve met some nice folks through our other ads but unfortunately haven’t clicked with anyone yet. We’re cool redoing older songs(we do really like some of them,just need some refining),and of course writing new original tunes that utilise everyone’s skills. Some our influences are: Caspian,Circa Survive,God is an Astronaut,The Sunday’s,Sunny Day Real Estate,Van Morrison,Joan as Policewoman,Bowie,Joy Division,Fleetwood Mac,Sun Kill Moon-lots of stuff. But obviously we’re open to other sounds(sorry unfortunately not interested in country,college rock,deep blues or southern rock.)
