I'm rehoming Cricket, my adorable African dwarf frog, because he's turning out to not be a good tank mate with my betta fish. Everything was fine until Cricket began mistaking Terry Gilliam (the betta) for food! African dwarf frogs are basically blind and will lunge at any moving thing that might be edible, including delicate betta fins. I purchased him from Petco on a whim, the sales associate assured me that they would live in harmony but alas, 'tis not the case.
This is my fault for not doing proper research before adding a critter and changing the tank dynamic, so now I'm in damage control mode. My goal is to save Terry whilst making sure that Cricket goes to a good home!
Please text me at
to coordinate. I'd like for him to go ASAP! I separated them but I don't have room in my house for two tanks.
Thank you!
Emily
