A socially progressive church in the Grant Park neighborhood is hiring folk musicians for a Christmas Eve Service. We're looking for a percussionist/drummer to complete a folk quartet/band. We probably won't need a full drum kit, but some hand instruments, kick bass, high hat, and some Christmas bells. Total hours required will be between 4-5, there will be one rehearsal a week before Christmas Eve, then a final rehearsal and sound check before the service. Pay is $100. Music will be a combination of sheet music, chord charts and improvisation. Covid-19 safety measures are masks will be worn by musicians and attendees. Social distance will also be maintained.
