Description

We are high-end medical, salon, and retail shopping center looking for a janitor to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and light maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Janitors must understand customer service and keep assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Work successfully with fellow employees & others. Understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written. Explain how to complete a task, understand instructions for task using basic communication skills.   Responsibilities: Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing face coverings Skills: Proven working experience as a janitor Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work as a team player Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Supplemental Pay: Holiday bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: Beverly Hills, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Spanish Work Location: One location
