**NEED IMMEDIATE HIRE** General B contracting company currently looking for motivated individuals with at least 3 years of experience in the construction field to grow our team! Contractor is looking for laborers skilled in multiple trades and is willing to train on additional aspects of construction to invest in long-term employees and facilitate career growth. We are looking to build an in-house team of experienced laborers skilled in 3 or more of the following trades: - Finish Carpentry - Finish Electric - Finish Plumbing - Conventional Framing - Drywall Installation - Skim Coat Application - Interior and Exterior Painting - Door Installation - Window Installation - Stucco or Smooth Stucco Application - Interior and Exterior Waterproofing - Decking and Fencing Installation Additional skills preferred, but not required: - Rough Plumbing - Tile Installation - Wood Floor Installation - Venetian Plaster - Foundation / Rebar JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform the above trades working on multiple types of projects: Full Residential Remodels, Bathroom Remodels, Kitchen Remodels, Additions, and Accessory Dwelling Units. - Perform demolition, debris removal, and construction site clean-up. - Load and offload materials, mix and pour materials, and occasional digging and trenching. - Maintain a clean and safe work site, and organization of tools and materials. - Regular use of construction tools. - Communicate in a positive and professional manner, and have the ability to keep in constant communication with supervisors. - Complete tasks on time to exact instructions with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Frequent walking, lifting, bending, standing, reaching, squatting, and the ability to work on knees, and ascend/descend stairs. - Able to lift 75 lbs. - Able to work outside all day in inclement weather as needed. - Able to work on ladders and scaffoldings, up to 3-stories high. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: - Attention to detail and quality of the finished product is expected. - Minimum 3-years construction experience. - Basic knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing. - Has a valid California driver's license. - Able to travel to various project locations within the County of Los Angeles. - Willingness to work occasional Saturdays based on customer needs. - Maintain a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and able to work independently. - Has good listening skills and an excellent ability to follow directions. - Willingness to advance and grow long-term within an expanding company.
