Lost Cockatiel in Venice/Mar Vista

Our beloved cockatiel Sparkles escaped from our house on Glencoe Avenue in East Venice just after 2pm on Monday, 8 November 2021. He seemed to fly in the direction of the Mark Twain Middle School and perhaps Venice High School, but could be anywhere in this or neighboring areas. As you can see on the photo, he's about the size and shape of a mourning dove – small bird with a long tail – but has much more conspicuous plumage: grey and white overall with a yellow head, a feather crest, and bright orange cheek patches. He's a friendly bird who likes being talked and whistled to and will come to people. Sparkles' mate, Kogori, and ourselves miss him very much. If you see him, please contact us via text or email.
