Since 2006, Las Vegas Sugar Glider Rescue(LVSGR) has taken in and sheltered literally hundreds of small exotics including sugar gliders – many of which are too ill or old to adopt out. Our programs have been effective in providing local educational programs, community outreach and day-to-day care and feeding of unwanted or abused animals. LVSGR is a non-profit exotic and small animal rescue. LVSGR is a 501(c)3 public charity, which also provides community outreach in the form of educational programs for animal caregivers and enthusiasts. Crystal D’Alessandro established LVSGR over two decades ago in Nevada. Our programs include volunteer education and ranch visits; community outreach and education; and hands-on animal husbandry workshops including a dietary workshop. We work with local veterinarians and collaborate with caregivers and veterinarians nationwide to develop and teach best practices for the care of sanctuary animals. We will come get any unwanted glider or any glider that needs a friend.
