POSITION SUMMARY Works under the direction of the Sanitation Lead to provide janitorial-related support for all facilities. KEY JOB DUTIES: * Spot check restrooms, break rooms, offices, facility, and grounds to maintain in a clean state through machine and manual cleaning using the dish machine, brooms, vacuums, brushes, towels, and mops etc. Ensure all towels and paper supplies are well stocked. Follow zone and color code requirements for brushes, squeegees, and mops, if applicable. * As directed, monitor pest control fixtures for placement and activity. Record and report findings to supervisor. Monitor, fill, and label containers of cleaning supplies. Monitor and report on cleaning chemical inventories for purchasing needs. * Clean and sanitize parts with the use of cleansers and sanitizers. Ability to maintain a fast pace. Ability to be detail-oriented. * Document scheduled cleaning activities on various area cleaning charts keeping activities up-to-date and current, using good documentation practices (GDPs). * Fill in for other sanitation staff during absences and vacations. May be delegated a member of the safety committee. * Must be willing to help out as a team-player where needed on non-sanitation tasks and special projects. * Work with all other departments to ensure proper production flow and order fulfillment. * Must be physically able to do continuous bending, reaching, and kneeling. Able to lift 50 lbs. and setup and operate cleaning machinery, if necessary. * Participate in the Redzone system, and fill checks in it as needed. * Possess excellent people skills with the ability to get along with a different mix of personalities. * Be attentive to detail, have excellent follow-through, and pride in workmanship. COMPANY REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language. * Must be able to pass background check. * Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time. * Must be able to recognize audible hazards. * Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties. * Maintain good attendance. * Perform other projects / duties as assigned. WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: * Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * High school diploma or GED required.
