This class is part of the WSB (Wilderness Survival Basics) class. Sign up for the full day and save $15, or sign up for both days and save $30. The Fall and Winter WSB is a 2 day class that includes Survival Psychology, Wilderness Trauma first aid, shelter construction, fire building in wet conditions, water purification and land navigation.
Learn essential life saving first aid skills to potentially save a life, until professional help arrives. We'll cover proper use of such critical first-aid/trauma items, like Combat Application Tourniquets, Splints, Litters, as well as ways to make these items from common items you may have on hand, and cover basic body functions, so students understand the "why" of applying quick, life saving first-aid.
