WILDERNESS SURVIVAL BASICS-Fall & Winter (L,W,F) 5 Person minimum to hold this class. The WSB is a 2 day course, $50 per day, $100 for both days, which includes Fire, Water, First Aid, Shelter, Navigation, and Survival Psychology and Diet classes. This class day, Day #1, will cover LAND NAVIGATION, WATER PURIFICATION AND FIRE CRAFT. You can do the full weekend, or do Day #1 this weekend, then Day #2 another weekend. We understand that some of you may not need every Micro-class within the "Wilderness Survival Basics." course. This course covers the most important skills you will likely need in a woodland survival situation, and we are including 2 popular bonus classes, Combat First Aid and Survival Psychology and Diet. The Basic 4's are Land Navigation, Fire building with wet material, Water Purification and Survival Shelters. This 2 day course will give you an in depth understanding of the importance of each topic, how and when to use these skills, and you will have "Hands-on" training to bring it all together. We will teach you what you need to know then bring you in to get your hands dirty. You will apply tourniquets, build fires, purify water many different ways, learn to use a map and compass, learn that you don't necessarily need a compass, assist in building shelters, and so much more.
