Maintenance and Repair Technician Job Overview: Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the Maintenance and Repair Technician will repair, maintain, and operate (on occasion) all the equipment within the mill to ensure maximum productivity, quality, and safety while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. Responsibilities • Daily oiling and lubing of machinery • Maintaining correct oil levels in all plant hydraulic units • Cleaning and maintaining compressor • Troubleshoot, dismantle, and reassemble equipment as needed for repair • Work with a range of tools • Operate a forklift • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Follow directions and effectively communicate with all levels of plant personnel Qualifications and Education Requirements • High School diploma/GED • Experience with hand and power tools • Eagerness and willingness to learn • Efficient time-management skills • Attention to details • Team player _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lumber Mill Production Specialist Kokanee Wood Products Competitive Pay - Attendance Bonus - Benefits - Employee Discounts $500.00 Signing Bonus Job Overview: The Lumber Mill Production Specialist is responsible for sorting, pulling, stacking, and loading lumber safely and efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Primary Responsibilities: • Pulling and loading lumber • Stacking • Sticker setting • Move quickly, consistently and safely to keep up with the flow of production • Keeping mill clean of sawdust and debris • Maintain a safe work area Job Requirements: The successful candidate should have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent is required • Highly motivated • Strong communication skills • Team player • Must have the physical ability to push, pull, squat, bend, lift, reach, stand and walk for long periods of time.
