Job description Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Rod Buster for an immediate start in Austin, TX for construction of a manufacturing site. To apply please call Veronica 813-435-3909. PAY: $25-$28/hour HOURS: 40+ hours/ week SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Saturday. 1st shift & 2 shift offered. START DATE: ASAP DURATION: 3 months Job Description: Maintain a safe work environment while accomplishing tasks such as tying, setting, placing, flying rebar footings/walls/foundation and pedestals. Force structural steel members into final positions, using turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks and hand tools. Cut rods to require lengths, suing metal shears, hacksaws, bar cutters. Qualifications for Rod Busters Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to read production blue prints. Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, face mask, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses. Must have basic hand tools for rod busting tools. Additional Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to & from the job site Applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and back ground check.
