Description

Very busy powder coating shop needs temp to possible permanent positions filled. Powder Coat Spray Position: 3+ years of experience in powder coating metal parts. Knowledge of Nordson powder spray system controls and equipment or similar. Good manual dexterity; ability to work with hand tools. Sandblasting Position: 1+ years of experience in sandblasting metal parts Knowledge of sandblasting system controls and equipment Good manual dexterity; ability to work with hand tools. General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools. Metal Prep Positions: Preparing (cleaning, sanding, masking and hanging parts) metal surfaces before powder coating. We coat motorcycle, automotive, boat, sand rail, off-road, bicycle, household items, patio furniture, production parts, etc. We can coat 1000's of different colors and so many different items so days are never the same. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good manual dexterity; ability to work with hand tools. Good verbal and written communication skills. General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools. Physical Demands: Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to lift over 50 lbs. with assistance. Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers. Required to have visual accuracy to perform assigned tasks. Ability to stand/sit for sustained periods of time. Attendance is an essential job function. Performs other duties as required. Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
