Description

This is a monthly group for 7-9 year old adoptees. Any domestically or internationally adopted children 7-9 yo adopted through any agency or from foster care between the ages of 7-9, is welcome to come! There is no monthly commitment, but we will be meeting the 4th Saturday of every month. The kids will play games and talk about adoption related topics in a safe, fun environment with a therapist. Why attend? • Make new friends• Develop relationships with trusted adults who are adoptees or work in the field of adoption• Enhance self-confidence and self-identity• Participate in group activities to learn strategies and techniques for handling adopted-related questions• Ask questions in a welcoming, safe environment• Get a better sense of who they are
