Hi, I have 2 conures I’m considering rehoming. 1 is a pineapple and the other is a black capped. I got them together about 7 months ago, they are very bonded & hate to be away from each other. Whatever one does the other will follow! Which isn’t always a good thing because if one wants to be brave and hang out with you but sees it’s buddy is scared it will decide it’s scared too and run away. The person I got them from said they were friendly but shy but in reality they are some what friendly but terrified of people. Even though they are scared they really don’t bite just kinda nibble like they are curious. They have been tested for diseases and are negative. I really like them but I feel like they are going to need a lot more one on one attention then I am able to give them so they can finally over come being scared of people. I’m really hoping to find them a home together but may consider separating them to the right person if we think it will work out. The black capped isn’t always friendly towards other birds she tries to pull tail feathers out. The pineapple is a bit more accepting towards other birds.
