CITY OF EUREKA HOUSING AUTHORITY COUNTY OF HUMBOLDT HOUSING AUTHORITY Maintenance Specialist III (Eureka) compensation: $3,922 - $4,815 / month DOE + excellent benefits employment type: full-time Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Specialist III Date: November 2021 Under the direction of: Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Lead Pay Grade: $3,922 - $4,815/mo. (DOE) + excellent benefits Maintenance Specialist III is responsible for performing/assisting with a wide range of job duties, including: • Turning vacant units (skills used include carpentry, cleaning, plumbing, some electrical, etc.) • Responding to tenant work order requests (most common issues include leaks/plumbing, lock replacements, water heater issues, wall heater issues, etc.) • Assisting with property inspections and performing recurring maintenance duties • Unit modernization/rehabilitation • Use of power tools, hand tools, and other equipment • Using a tablet-based system to record/update work orders • Other projects as they arise • Participating in on-call rotation A valid CA driver’s license is required.
