The Kansas City Community Coffee is an informal gathering that serves as an introduction to timebanking as an alternative value exchange. The Kansas City Timebank is a cornerstone equity economics project of the KC Sudbury School. This community coffee event can serve as a first step to becoming a member of the KC Timebank. We have a variety of membership options to fit your goals. All memberships have sliding scale donation options, including earning KC Timebank credits. IndividualsHouseholdsOrganizationsThis is a casual event that will run from 9 to 11 am. BYOBiscuits, Coffee, Snacks and Mask, Gather on the east side of Unity Temple on the Patio, Entry is promptly at 9 am. Weather permitting we could enjoy an outdoor conversation on the patio. Otherwise, we will gather for a physically distant conversation and presentation in the KC Sudbury School Rainbow Room.Beth Sarver will give a brief presentation from 9:15Watch Film: Time As Money (70 min)Q&A (30 min)11 am is the end of the coffee and the beginning of our KCSS work party. We have a variety of projects that you could help with. Spending a few hours working at our school could be a just right start for your KC Timebanking efforts!
